Philipe Starck’s new hotel, The SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills , is due to unveil during the Salone. However, here is a small peek of the lobby. The hotel is managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts with a shop run by Murray Moss.

Thirty-six industrial countries, except the U.S., have all agreed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions over time. As a step towards accomplishing that they are financing “clean development” projects in developing worlds. So basically they are paying people to not pollute or release harmful toxins into the earth. This has led people to find cheap ways to reduce emissions in order to get the green (green as in money, not the environment).

Coca-Cola will be selling special vintage bottles called the 1906 “Diamond Label”. They will be available in four-packs that feature the early 20th century Coca-Cola Spencerian script logo and Diamond Label design.

A small group of independent Obama supporters plan to launch a fund raising web site, AnObamaMinute.com, to raise $1 million dollars in one minute. This will take place on April 21st at 1pm. Pledgers can pre-register and donate within the 60 seconds.
